Ranking
18 models, best first. Each bar compares a model with the rest of this list: the best on every point would score 100.
Scores reward a low price per watt-hour, high output, room to expand and long warranties, all as the makers state them. They don't measure real-world efficiency, noise or app quality, so use them to shortlist, then read the model pages.

How the score works
Weights: max with extra batteries 50, price per wh 25, ac output 25
Weights
- 50
Max with extra batteries, higher is better.
- 25
Price per Wh, lower is better.
- 25
AC output, higher is better.
Steps
- 1
Each criterion is scaled from 0, the worst of these 18 models, to 1, the best. For price per wh, lower is better, so the lowest value scores 1.
- 2
Each scaled value is multiplied by its weight, and the results are added up to a score out of 100. Models with the same score share a rank.
- 3
A model is ranked only if it has its own page here and a value for every criterion (expandable Yes).
Who is ranked
This list covers 18 power stations that the maker states can take extra batteries. Maximum capacity with extra batteries carries half the score at 50 percent. Price per Wh and AC output count 25 percent each. Warranty is not scored here.
What stands out
The Pecron F5000LFP ranks first at $2,399 with 5,120 Wh and 7,200 W, and it reaches 35,840 Wh with extra batteries. It is a pre-order, with shipping in early to mid December per the maker. The price is a sale price. The Anker SOLIX S5000 is second at $2,499.99 and reaches 30,000 Wh. That is a launch price.
The Oukitel BP5000 Pro Max is third at $1,899 and reaches 19,456 Wh. The EcoFlow DELTA Pro is fourth at $1,799. It starts at 3,600 Wh and reaches 25,000 Wh. The Pecron F3000LFP is fifth at $899 with 3,072 Wh, expandable to 10,752 Wh.
How to use this list
Maximum capacity is a ceiling, not what you get out of the box. Extra batteries cost more, and the maker sets how many you can add. Check that the battery you plan to buy is in stock, since some expansion packs are sold out or discontinued. For a smaller budget, the F3000LFP is the cheapest of the top five.
